When my own marriage was falling apart I looked desperately for a book that would be compassionate, knowledgeable, uplifting, and accessible all at the same time. I wanted a book to normalize the stress, fear, and heartbreak I was feeling. I could not find a book that provided what I yearned for. That is when I decided to write the book that was missing from the bookshelves.
